Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: May 15, 2026
Transparency matters to us. Some links on GlobalSilentWalks are affiliate links — when you book or buy through them, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. This page explains how it works.
Who we partner with
We work with selected travel partners we use ourselves: Trip.com (hotels), Aviasales (flights), Tiqets (skip-the-line tickets, museums and tours) and Amazon (travel gear, electronics, packing essentials). Affiliate links carry rel="sponsored nofollow" and are marked with "Sponsored" or "Partner link" labels next to the call to action.
How we earn
When you click an affiliate link and complete a qualifying booking or purchase within the partner's tracking window, we receive a commission paid by the partner — never by you. Your final price is identical to going to the partner directly.
Editorial independence
Affiliate revenue keeps the site free and ad-light. It never influences which destinations we cover, which stadiums we visit, or what we write about a hotel, flight or product. We refuse pay-for-play placements and we will tell you when content is sponsored.
How we choose what to recommend
We prioritise: (1) partners with refundable / flexible terms, (2) products tested by our team or community, (3) merchants with reliable customer support. If we wouldn't book it ourselves, we don't link to it.
FTC compliance
In line with the U.S. FTC Endorsement Guides and EU consumer-protection rules, every affiliate link on the site is disclosed in close proximity (visible disclosure within the same content block). This page provides the complete written disclosure required by the FTC 16 CFR Part 255.
